Contemporary photographer and skater Sergei Vutuc explores his environment in his zines. His inspiration for zines came from the middle 90s when he was playing in bands. I really like the zine format because it's easy to look at and flip through and I think it's less intimidating than a big photocopy book.

Vutuc's images are a subjective and it evokes the emotions he feels when he skateboarding, a feeling or risk and a little bit of chaos. This is created by the use of abstract shapes, high amount of contrast, creating a gritty effect and some messy notes below, symbolizing the mistakes made when skating or even practicing something practical.
